Designed to take on Québec’s climate in style, the ABRiTEK Hinged Door enhances the look of your home. Built from our Tilt and Turn line, it represents ABRiTEK’s highest performing and most secure residential door. Inspired by current architectural trends, it features a large glass area while maintaining outstanding soundproofing and weathertightness.
Its structural strength allows for large sizes up to 42 x 97 inches!

- Robust multi chamber PVC profiles, welded at all four corners.
- 5 1/4 inch all-PVC frame in the ALL-PVC series, an optimal depth for Québec’s climate variations.
- 5 3/4 inch aluminum and PVC frame in the HYBRID series.
The PVC thickness on the door’s exterior faces is 2.2 mm, exceeding industry standards for increased strength.
With outstanding strength, the aluminum reinforcements in both the frame and the sash give the Hinged Door superior rigidity and structural performance that makes all the difference.
Composed of 3 or 4 locking points, the European automatic multi-point locking system with Ferguard coating ensures a weathertight seal, enhanced security, and corrosion resistance.

Adjust the door after a few years. Even after the natural settling of the building or home, the Hinged Door will perform just as well.
A composite warm-edge spacer that reduces thermal conductivity and condensation on the interior glass.
Attractive, impact resistant, and will not fade with foot traffic over time.
The Hinged Door features an extruded PVC weatherstrip integrated into the frame and an EPDM weatherstrip for the sash. EPDM is used exclusively in this series to enhance thermal and acoustic insulation.
A third intermediate weatherstrip is available to further enhance the product’s performance.
*What is EPDM? Ethylene propylene diene monomer is a versatile synthetic rubber used for sealing. It is resistant to weathering, ozone, UV rays, and low temperatures.

ENERGY STAR® certified
The Hinged Door meets ENERGY STAR® Canada criteria and achieves Energy Ratings (ER) up to 38. *Results may vary depending on the type of sealed glass unit selected.
Meets CSA A440 standards
The Hinged Door complies with the harmonized AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 standard and is tested by independent laboratories, including AIR INS.
When the door height exceeds 90 inches, a fourth hinge is added for better support and increased stability.
All our door glass is tempered for improved impact resistance.
Our insulated glass units, double sealed, are 1 inch thick for superior insulation. Choose the standard triple glass option at 1 3/8 inches thick for optimal acoustic and thermal protection. For even higher thermal performance, such as Passivhaus compliance, triple glass is available up to 1 3/4 inches thick. Choose a frosted finish for added privacy, with opacity levels ranging from translucent to fully opaque.
