ABRiTEK Tilt and Turn windows combine clean design, advanced functionality, and high level insulation. With a dual inward opening, either in tilt mode or swing mode, they exceed market standards for thermal performance and acoustic comfort.
Dual-function inward opening
Tilt function that opens at the top for secure, draft free ventilation.
Turn function that opens inward for easy cleaning and maximum ventilation.
Also allows for single configurations such as ”à la française”, hopper, fixed (no opening), and egress compliant basement escape windows.

With perimeter hardware around the opening, this series allows maximum sizes up to 54 x 96 inches.
Frames and Sashes
- Robust multi chamber PVC profiles, welded at all four corners.
- 5 1/4 inch all-PVC frame: an optimal depth for Québec’s climate variations.
- 5 3/4 inch aluminum and PVC frame in the HYBRID series.
High-end PVC
The PVC thickness on the exterior faces is 2.2 mm, exceeding industry standards for increased strength.
Multi-point locking system with Ferguard coating
For an airtight and watertight, secure seal while offering a more modern style. The silver FerGUard coating is highly corrosion resistant.
Concealed hinges / 95-degree opening
The standard hinges in this series are installed inside the frame and are not visible, providing a clean look and an opening up to 95 degrees.
Steel and aluminum reinforcements
Two steel reinforcements are specially designed and inserted into the sash and mullion, along with an aluminum reinforcement in the frame, for strength you can rely on.
SWISSPACER spacer
A composite warm-edge spacer that reduces thermal conductivity and condensation between the panes.
Exclusive weatherstripping
The tilt and turn series features an extruded PVC weatherstrip integrated into the frame and an EPDM* weatherstrip for the sash. EPDM* is used exclusively in this window series to enhance thermal and acoustic insulation.
*What is EPDM? Ethylene propylene diene monomer is a versatile synthetic rubber used for sealing. It is resistant to weathering, ozone, UV rays, and low temperatures.
Robust exterior insect screen
EXTRUDED aluminum frame that allows larger sizes.
3/4″ and 1/2″ integrated J-channel in the frame
Used to insert an interior extension or drywall.
ENERGY STAR® certified
The ALL-PVC series meets the criteria ENERGY STAR® Canada and achieves Energy Ratings (ER) (ER) up to 43 for operable units and up to 47 for fixed units.*Results may vary depending on the type of sealed glass unit selected.

The Tilt and Turn series complies with the harmonized AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440 standard and is tested by independent laboratories, including UL.
